The Reverend A.T. Pearson is the proud Servant-Pastor of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church (Mt. Holly, NC). His passion as an insightful bible preacher and teacher fuels his desire to "Transform the world with the power of the Gospel".

With this mandate, Pearson has lead Mt Sinai (affectionately known by its members as "The Mount") to new dimensions in the Kingdom. As a result of his dynamic leadership Mt. Sinai's membership and stewardship more than doubled in his first year and continues to grow under his stewardship as Servant-Pastor. Abandoning the futile traditions of the past, 100+ year old Mt Sinai has embraced a new paradigm for ministry : "Loving God. Loving People. Living Life!" With free-flowing worship and Spirit-filled preaching Mt. Sinai is positioning itself to reach the "unreachable" in Jesus' name!

A native of Southern California, Reverend Pearson has earned 3 undergraduate degrees (with honors) in Biblical Studies, Religion, and Theology. In addition to his graduate studies in divinity, He holds Masters' Degree in Counseling Psychology and in Educational Administration. Pastor Pearson is scheduled to commence doctoral studies in the fall of 2014.

Complimenting his ministry and educational accomplishments Reverend Pearson credits his membership in the historic Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. as a key source for his awareness and involvement in community affairs. He has served on various Boards of Directors and as a volunteer for many community organizations in both California and North Carolina. Most Recently, Reverend Pearson has teamed up with other Pastors and Christian Leaders as a contributor and consultant to the book: "Our Love is Here to Stay: Inspiring Stories of Lasting Love".

This year Reverend Pearson is celebrating 15 years of marriage to his wife, the former R. Alexis Thornton. They are the proud parents of two girls: Madisyn Alexis and Carrington Victoria.
