Compassionate. Honest. Professional. Loving. Knowledgeable. These are only a few words to describe this great woman of God, R. Alexis Pearson.
A native of Southern California, Alexis has obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from the University of Memphis (Memphis, TN) and the Master of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Human Resource Management from Touro University (Merced, CA). Further coursework in Public Law and other business related disciplines have been completed at California State University and The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Institute of Government.
In May 2005 she was appointed the first African American to head a Department with Cleveland County Government. Alexis brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to that position as Director of Human Resources. Presently, she is a Human Resources Manager for a Fortune 100 Company.

Alexis and her husband, Pastor A.T. Pearson will celebrate 15 years of marriage this year and they are the proud parents of two girls: Madisyn Alexis and Carrington Victoria. Together, the Pearson Family serves at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church of Mt. Holly, NC.
